Pets get blessed at Beaches Episcopal School celebration
Animals of every kind made their way to the Beaches Episcopal School (BES) campus on Friday, Oct. 5, as they celebrated “Blessing of the Pets” with the entire BES school community. This event is in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment. The Reverends Louanne Loche and Bill Carroll from St. Paul’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church prayed for God’s blessings over everything from dogs and cats to lizards and snakes.
