Ocean Palms Elementary School bid farewell to the graduating 5th-grade class of 2022-23 with graduation ceremonies, a talent show, foam party fun, outside activities, a Chick-fil-A and Tikiz lunch and the traditional Ocean Palms schoolwide clap out.

It was an exciting week of goodbyes as this group of Ocean Palms Otters became Landrum Lions, starting with a graduation ceremony for the various 5th-grade classes. A student, nominated by their peers, spoke for each class.

Additionally, Principal Tiffany Cantwell gave a heartfelt tribute to the outgoing class.

Students also had an opportunity to share their many talents with peers in the 5th-grade talent show where the audience was entertained with gymnastics stunts and magic tricks, among other acts. Students also had an opportunity to laugh among friends at the outdoor foam party.

Finally, students, teachers and staff of all grades lined the halls on their last day to clap, high five and congratulate the 5th-grade class of 2022-23 as they walked the halls of Ocean Palms one last time.
