The Nocatee community — which was developed by Chamber of Commerce member The Parc Group — hosted a cast of pirates from the Fernandina Pirates Club on Saturday, Feb. 17 at the Nocatee Farmers Market.
Held at the Splash Waterpark Swim Club Green, the event allowed Nocatee residents to interact with the pirates, tour the group’s ship and attend the group’s “pirate school.”
The event also featured crafts and a bounce house for kids, as well as beer and wine for adults. Life Exchange Insurance Services served as the market’s sponsor.
An event that is held the third Saturday of every month, the market includes over 70 local vendors offering items such as organic produce, herbs, spices, unique foods, crafts, jewelry and more.
