Cool Eddy's, Northeast Florida’s new ice cream and Italian ice concept, is celebrating the grand opening of its first store the weekend of Saturday, July 8, and Sunday, July 9, with free ice creams, Italian ice, gelati, face painting and other fun activities. A few winners will receive gift certificates.
Located in Julington Creek at 2750 Race Track Road, number 306, Cool Eddy's menu features 24 flavors of Italian ice, soft serve ice cream, 16 flavors of milkshakes, gelati that combines Italian ice and creamy soft ice cream for unlimited combinations. With an array of toppings such as Gummy Bears, Reese's, Brownie Bites, Sprinkles and more.
“As you enter our store, you'll be greeted with an atmosphere that blends whimsy, nostalgia and modern flair,” said Cool Eddy’s Founder and CEO Rob Kluba. “The unique and cool interior of Cool Eddy's features vibrant colors, playful decor and eye-catching designs that are unlike anything you’ve seen before. We are not your ordinary ice cream shop.”
Kluba, a seasoned franchisor, founded a nationwide storefront tax preparation services business with 500 units before selling to H&R Block.
“I was looking around for my next business venture and came across the ice cream and Italian ice concept and was struck by its appeal,” Kluba said. “And judging by the reception we’ve received so far I am convinced this is a concept that will be a hit with customers and investors alike.”
