The Webster School and Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of St. Johns County are partnering to begin a School Grandparent Program.
School grandparents will serve one morning or one afternoon per week, and will be talking with and encouraging students during arrival, lunch, recess, dismissal, in the hallways, etc.
Students will have another smiling face to greet them, and it will be a fun and engaging opportunity for senior volunteers. For more information, call Cheryl Freeman of RSVP at (904) 547-3952.
