The 10th Annual Multiple Sclerosis Silent Auction has been scheduled for June 6 at Mr. Chubby's Wings in Ponte Vedra Beach. It is being sponsored by local Bike MS cycling team Big Bananas.
The event, free to the public, will offer bidders more than 275 items with a total value of more than $35,000, including items from 100 restaurants, retailers, vacations and service providers. Last year's $26,000 raised for the MS Society brought the nine-year fundraising total to $200,000.
Since 2010, the 25-member Big Banana cycling team has raised more than $1.4 million for the organization and helped support local programs and services, plus research to help discover a cure for the disease.
Items up for bid this year include trips to North Carolina, Daytona Beach and Amelia Island, private course golf outings, concert and sports tickets, deep sea fishing and jet ski and kayak rentals, plus dining from restaurants such as BurgerFi, Cantina Louie, Nona Blue, Coopers Hawk, Mezza, Pusser's, Medure and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.

The year's Bike MS PGA TOUR Cycle to the Shore is Oct. 22-23. It is a fundraising cycling event from St. Augustine to Daytona Beach, and it’s open to all levels of riders.
