Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry recently joined local city officials and key players in the construction and development industry July 17 for a VIP grand opening and ribbon cutting event to celebrate the construction of the new Dream Finders Homes headquarters building at 14701 Philips Highway in Jacksonville.

Previously headquartered in Orange Park, the homebuilder’s new 45,000 square foot, three-story building is located just north of St. Johns County and near Nocatee Parkway, Race Track Road, Interstate 95 and the completion of Florida 9B.

"We are proud to call Duval County our new home for the Dream Finders Homes Corporate Office," said Patrick Zalupski, CEO and founder of Dream Finders Homes. "Not only do we have a brand new 45,000-square-foot office space, complete with contemporary work spaces, including ergonomic chairs and sit/stand desks, but we are in the heart of growth near Northern St. Johns county.

“This is a huge quality of life enhancement for our hard-working employees and will provide a wonderful customer experience with our new 6,000-square-foot state-of-the-art design center, where the majority of our customers will make their custom design selections,” Zalupski added. “This is an exciting day to be a part of the Dream Finders family."

Dream Finders employs approximately 150 people in the building.

"Everyone that has had the opportunity to walk through the studio doors has been blown away by the grandeur and beauty of the space," said Courtney Bauer, design center manager. "We are so excited to provide a unique home-buying experience to all of our buyers."

As of mid-June 2018, Dream Finders said it sold ownership of its headquarters building to Capital Square — a Virginia-based real estate and investment company — for $13.75 million and entered a 15-year lease.

Vice President of Land Batey McGraw said a majority of the sale money will go toward new land acquisition.

Dream Finders also builds homes in Orlando, Hilton Head, Savannah, Maryland, Northern Virginia and Colorado. The homebuilder has plans to continue expansion into new markets soon.
