On Nov. 10, veterans, families and friends gathered at Sawgrass Country Club to celebrate the 242^nd birthday of the United States Marine Corps.

Attendees paid tribute to the fallen and recognized veterans in attendance from all brancehes of service and wars. It was the first time such an event was held at the Sawgrass Country Club. The event will continue next year, with plans for it to be held Friday, Nov. 9, 2018.
