The Jacksonville-Oceanside Rotary presented a check for $3,500 to Here Tomorrow, a local nonprofit that provides no-cost, no-wait mental health care for an entire year to individuals feeling hopeless or suicidal in Northeast Florida.

The magic-makers at Here Tomorrow are Certified Recovery Peer Specialists who team with individuals in crisis to develop coping skills and accomplish SMART goals toward recovery (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-Bound). They have served more than 1,500 individuals in less than three years.

Jacksonville-Oceanside Rotary’s donation of $3,500, which was raised from its charities fund and individual club member donations, will provide the resources for State of Florida certification for Here Tomorrow's teen and adult recovery peer specialists.
