The Goddard School, a nationally acclaimed early childhood education franchise, is set to open its second location in Ponte Vedra in late 2024. It will serve the South Ponte Vedra and Nocatee communities. It will be the fourth location in the Jacksonville area for owner Liz Scott, who presently owns The Goddard School of Ponte Vedra Beach, The Goddard School of Julington Creek and The Goddard School of Baymeadows/Gate Parkway.
The new 15,000-square-foot, early-childhood education center will feature 12 classrooms to care for and educate approximately 240 students. The school will add about 40 teaching jobs to the community.

The new school will feature an indoor gymnasium, a STEAM room, an outdoor sports court, an outdoor learning classroom, an outdoor amphitheater and a turf athletic field alongside multiple playground structures. Additionally, the school will be equipped with hospital-grade sanitization equipment to ensure a healthy environment.
With a focus on exploration, learning and social-emotional growth, The Goddard School uses a play- and inquiry-based approach grounded in the most current, academically endorsed methods in early childhood education.
Children can explore and discover music and art, learn to communicate using sign language and secondary languages and develop problem-solving skills through play.
