First Coast Opera in St. Augustine is holding auditions for singers on Sunday, July 1, from 1:30 to 5 p.m. for the 2018-19 season.
Auditions are by appointment and will be held at Ancient City Baptist Church at 27 Sevilla St. in downtown St. Augustine.
Auditions are for all roles in the 2018-19 season, which includes:
· Bernstein’s Broadway – Oct. 11-13, 2018
· Le Nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) – Jan. 5-6, 2019
· Tribute to Marian Anderson & Friends – Feb. 22-24, 2019
· Family Opera Festival – Spring 2019
Singers of all levels are welcome. Both paid and volunteer positions are available. Additional auditions may be held in September 2018. Some roles may be filled outside of auditions.
Auditioners should be prepared to sing one or two selections. A pianist will be provided. Singers must provide sheet music for the pianist. There is no cost to audition.

Singers not scheduled in advance will be heard on a space-available basis. In-person auditions are preferred, but singers unable to attend the auditions may be considered by submitting photo, resumé and either audio/video files or links to online sources.
