Events raise money for Kids Kare Mobile ICU

Posted

Each year, The Women’s Board works to expand awareness and raise funds for Wolfson Children’s Hospital. This year’s funds will go to support the Kids Kare Mobile ICU program. As our hospital and region grow, the need to transport critically ill children expands as well.

With more than 400 members and 50 years of commitment, The Women’s Board raises funds through two signature events, The Florida Forum and the First Coast Design Show. The Florida Forum is a premiere speaker event featuring world-renowned thought leaders, and we are pleased to announce the upcoming series.

First, on Nov. 8, Mike Krzyzewski (Coach K), a legendary basketball coach, is a Naismith Hall of Fame coach, a five-time national champion at Duke University and a six-time gold medalist as head coach of the U.S. Men’s National Team. Coach K will share his insights as a leader and experiences from his more-than-40 years of coaching with Duke.

Next, on Jan. 17, Steve Wozniak (Woz) will take the stage. Woz is one of the co-founders of Apple Inc. He is a technology innovator, and his contributions are formidable. His role in launching the personal computer revolution was critical. He continues to be a thought leader on artificial intelligence and technology in education. An educator and philanthropist, Woz will share his unique view of technology and its role in society.

The final speaker is Adm. James Stavridis, a retired U.S. Navy admiral. With more than 30 years of service in the Navy, Adm. Stavridis’s work includes diplomacy, government policy, defense and cybersecurity. He has written 12 books and countless articles. Adm. Stavridis will share his experiences with the challenges our world faces.

I invite you to join us. Tickets and sponsorships are available now at TheFloridaForum.com.
