SAFE Pet Rescue will have a dog adoption event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, at Pet Supermarket, 880 A1A North, Ponte Vedra Beach.
In addition to dog and puppy adoptions, there will crafts and a bake sale hosted by the SAFE Pet Rescue Club of Ponte Vedra High School.
Donations of dog food, dog treats, towels, cleaning supplies, etc., will be gratefully accepted.
Proceeds benefit SAFE, which stands for “Saving Animals From Euthanasia.” It is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and no-kill shelter.
SAFE Pet Rescue actually has four shelters in the St. Augustine area. Since 2008, it has rescued and adopted out more than 28,000 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.
