The Catholic Diocese of St. Augustine will hold its inaugural “Life Fest — Live Catholic” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the National Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche at Mission Nombre de Dios, 27 Ocean Ave., St. Augustine.

Attendees will experience a day filled with faith, fun and family activities. The day starts with a Mass celebrated by Bishop Erik Pohlmeier at 9 a.m., followed by youth awards. Visitors can expect to be inspired by speakers Bob Perron and Dr. Jason Phillips and to enjoy uplifting music by the band Stella.

Attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite saints, participate in face painting, play games and visit the petting zoo, food trucks, vendors and more. For older children, there will be "Rise Up" games that include a 360-degree photo booth and a painting tent. There are three workshops for high school and college-age students to attend, including two “Theology of the Body” sessions in English and Spanish or a speaker panel.

The day concludes with a Eucharistic procession, the Rosary and the Divine Mercy chaplet. “Life Fest – Live Catholic” Day is sponsored by the offices of Youth & Young Adult Ministry and the Human Life & Dignity.
