The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach is holding its major fall fundraiser, “Havana Nights” at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 21, at Fantasy Farms in Palm Valley.

“Havana Nights” will feature Cuban cuisine, Cuban entertainment and beautiful Cuban landscapes painted by renowned artist Paul Ladnier during his visit to Cuba last year.

More than 200 guests are expected to attend the fundraiser as Fantasy Farms is transformed into Old Havana.

Musical and dance performances by Luna Cale from Miami and professional Salsa/Mambo dancers will be featured. Planet Ballroom will also be onsite with performances and private dance instruction for guests, who can also visit the Hemingway house for a photo opportunity with the "Biggest Catch" and enjoy Hemingway's favorite Cuban hot spot, "La Floridita," for a drink. Guests can also tour the antique car collection courtesy of S&L Classics and meet Cuban ballerina Dulce Anaya (Cuban National Ballet). There will also be a silent auction.

Honorary chairs of “Havana Nights” are local philanthropists Daryl and Frank Barker.

Individual tickets are $75 for members and $100 for non-members. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the center's website at www.ccpvb.org or by calling (904) 280-0614, ext. 205.

Proceeds from “Havana Nights” will directly benefit the children's arts programs at the Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

The Cultural Center's mission is to bring the arts into the life of the community with arts exhibition, arts education and arts outreach.
