Cards offer ideas for protecting beaches

Over the last two months, Beaches Go Green has distributed thousands of “protect our beaches” rack cards to local businesses, restaurants and hotels in Jax Beach, Neptune Beach and Atlantic Beach.
“The goal of the ‘protect our beaches’ rack card program is to provide valuable information to citizens and visitors on how to be good stewards of our beaches and its vulnerable environment,” said Anne Marie Moquin, founder of Beaches Go Green. “We know how much everyone loves our beaches and the surrounding areas as well as the creatures that live here with us. We want to remind people of the best ways to keep our area safe and healthy.”
This program was supported by funding from City of Atlantic Beach, City of Neptune Beach, City of Jacksonville Beach and Surfing’s Evolution & Preservation Foundation. All rack cards were printed on 100% recycled paper using eco-friendly Ink.
