Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty is kicking off the holiday season with "Illuminate the Night," a special event taking place Nov. 30 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Tim's Wine Market in St. Augustine Beach. Clients, business partners and the public are welcome to attend.

The event will feature a short program with Mantanzas Riverkeeper Neil Armingeon and Jen Lomberk, who will succeed Armingeon as Matanzas Riverkeeper in December.

“Most notable cities are located near water, and our community has incredibly beautiful and historically significant waterways that support numerous habitats,” said Ann King, broker/manager of the company's St. Augustine Beach and Murabella offices. “We are fortunate to have the Matanzas as part of our community, and we look forward to hearing more about the Riverkeeper’s efforts to protect and advocate on behalf of this precious natural resource.”

Following the program, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices will reveal details about a special holiday event, the inaugural St. Augustine Beach Luminaria with proceeds benefitting the Matanzas Riverkeeper, set for Dec. 17 at dusk.

“Our team cares deeply about the community and is committed to community service,” said Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty broker/executive vice president Christy Budnick. “Giving back to the community in which we live and work is an important component of our company culture.”
