Arbor Terrace Ponte Vedra and the Tesori Family Foundation recently worked together to hold a Valentine’s Day party at the local assisted living facility.
“We are fortunate to have them come spend quality time with our residents,” said Ann Terrell, senior care counselor at Arbor Terrace Ponte Vedra, about the partnership with the Tesori Family Foundation. “Our connection is strong because we specialize in memory care, and the Tesori Foundation specializes in children with special needs. Both age groups tend to enjoy being ‘in the moment.’”
Terrell further explained that Arbor Terrace focuses on creating deep connections with residents and creating memorable moments, several of which the facility works to create with the Tesori Family Foundation. In addition to the Valentine’s Day party, the organizations work together on events for Halloween and Easter, as well as a prom.
“We feel blessed to have created this intergenerational program with the Tesori Foundation,” said Terrell.
