Ancient City Entertainment has announced the return of As If! The 90s Fest, which will be held from 1 to 9:30 p.m. May 18 at Francis Field in downtown St. Augustine.
This year’s lineup boasts triple co-headliners, with the spotlight shining on Deana Carter, a Grammy Award-winning country music singer-songwriter best known for her debut album “Did I Shave My Legs For This?” and her hit single “Strawberry Wine”; Paula Cole, a Grammy winner who found worldwide acclaim with her triple-Grammy nominated song, “Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?” as well as headlining the popular music festival, Lilith Fair, in 1997 and 1998; and Fastball, an American rock band that had number one hits with tunes “The Way” and “Out of My Head.”
Other acts include Chillula, Ramona + the Riot and Julia Gulia.
“Get ready to experience the electric energy of the ’90s as we bring you the 4th Annual As If! The 90s Fest,” said Jeanetta Cebollero, owner of Ancient City Entertainment and the festival’s organizer. “It’s a family-friendly event that serves as the official summer kick-off, brimming with live music, vendors, food trucks, a water slide, a fly photo booth, and a celebration of all things ’90s. It’s going to be all that and a bag of chips!”
In addition to providing an unforgettable trip down memory lane, the festival is also a force for good, benefiting ACE Alliance, a 501c3 organization dedicated to supporting individuals in the tourism, entertainment and hospitality industries along coastal Northeast Florida.
Past events have raised tens of thousands of dollars, and the 2024 edition promises to continue this tradition of giving back to the community with the help of festival sponsors: The Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A., The Newcomer Group, MasterCraft Builder Group, Barwick Banking Company, Champion Brands and more.
