2018 grant applications now available for artists from Community Foundation

The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida has posted grant applications for certain categories of competitive 2018 grantmaking, including for individual professional artists to elevate their work.

The Community Foundation seeks to invest in individual professional artists in Northeast Florida who are pursuing the next step in their artistic development. The grants are up to $3,5000 and will be awarded for one year. They are funded through the Community Foundation’s Art Ventures initiative. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and reside in Duval, Clay, Nassau, St. Johns or Baker County.

Applications are due by March 5, 2018 for grants beginning in June 2018. Visit https://www.jaxcf.org/receive/individual-artists for more information on requirements, the timeline and application.

The Community Foundation has and will have additional competitive grant opportunities for Early Childhood (Emerging Opportunities and Programmatic), Aging Adults, Visual Art in St. Augustine, and Putnam County.
