19th annual Pumpkin Patch pops up at Lord of Life Lutheran Church field

Hundreds of pumpkins have popped up across the front field at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Ponte Vedra Beach in time for Halloween and the fall decorating season.

This is the 19th annual Pumpkin Patch for the church and its major fundraising event of the year. The signature event is also known for its unique homemade pumpkin pies baked with pumpkins from the patch, which are $10 each.

“One thing we love about our patch is that we have such a large field in front of our 7-acre property, that really feels like you are in the country walking around,” event organizer Deb Nye said. “We have lots of different sizes and colors this year, as well as mini pumpkins for the kids.”

The pumpkin patch is open Monday to Friday, 2 p.m. until dusk; Saturdays from 9 a.m. to dusk; and Sundays from 11 a.m. to dusk, at 276 Roscoe Blvd. North through Oct. 31.  Pumpkins are sold based on height and girth display stand.
