        Nocatee developer plans neighborhood in Twenty Mile area

        The PARC Group, Nocatee’s master developer, has unveiled plans for the first two neighborhoods in its Twenty Mile community.
        The Island at Twenty Mile and The Pointe at Twenty Mile will feature upscale homes situated on the largest lots to date in Nocatee, all with preserve or lake views, according to a news release.         The St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections will mail absentee ballots on Sept. 30 for the upcoming general election, and voters should receive the ballots beginning Oct. 2.
        by law, the earliest date that supervisors can mail the regular absentee ballots is 35 days prior to an election.         Palms Presbyterian receives Lilly grant

        Palms Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville Beach has received a grant of more than $40,000 to enable the Rev. Laurie Furr-Vancini to participate in the 2014 National Clergy Renewal Program, funded by the Indianapolis-based Lilly Endowment and administered by Christian Theological Seminary.
        Palms Presbyterian is one of 140 congregations nationwide selected to participate in the competitive grant program, according to a news release.
