There are nearly 600 students identified as homeless in St. Johns County. JCP CARES, Julington Creek Plantation Community Active Residents Engaged in Service, is a local organization providing assistance to those students. JCP CARES will be stuffing "Summer Fun" backpacks on May 15 to provide to the county’s homeless students to keep their minds active while they are gone for the summer.
