Ponte Vedra Beach Artist Kristen Abrahamson’s exhibition Vivid Explorations: Significance of the Moment will be available for viewing at Mezza Luna in Neptune Beach through the end of this year. Nearly 30 pieces were hung by Bill Carter at Chao Framing for this show.

With a unifying thread of vivid color, this exhibition showcases two of Abrahamson’s themes in her broad range of work - her new collection of contemporary work and her tropical landscape series.

A native of northeast Florida, Abrahamson’s easy-going Southern spirit reflects a friendly and happy style. Her use of vivid colors in acrylic and oil bring her paintings to life.

Abrahamson inherited her grandfather’s brushes and painters box, and a true passion for painting. As a studied and self-taught artist, she says she is evolving and has many avenues yet to explore. She has been most inspired through travels to Europe and the Caribbean.

Abrahamson is an internationally recognized artist whose works are in numerous private collections. Both originals and limited edition giclees are available for sale through her website.

For questions about her work, please contact Kristen Abrahamson at 318-6401 or send her an e-mail to kristen@kabrahamson.com.
