This weeks question:

How would you solve the parking problem at Mickler’s Landing?

“There are a lot of handicapped spaces. Maybe change two to regular parking and rearrange the rows to pull straight in like at Disney.”

Diane Haney

“I think they need a parking garage and should charge for parking per day.”

Vickie Hettenhouser

“I would build more parking lots. There are no mountains, ice or snow to get in the way.”

Steven Brickey

“There could be a parking garage across the street with a walkway over A1A.”

Jeanine Jacques

“I would offer a shuttle service.”

Alan Dean

Buy the Oar House. Turn into a beach diner with parking and walking path to Micklers beach. Widen Micklers to accommodate more parking through to Neck road. Perfect....

Charge for parking and use funds to start a shuttle from nearby parking lots (how about TPC permitting the use of it's huge, idle lot in the summer?)

instead of forcing more usage into an inappropriate area, steps should be taken to increase the usage of the great beaches at the Guana Preserve.
