The Ponte Vedra Chamber of Commerce is moving up.
Chuck Bushong, president of the Chamber, said that in August the PVCC will be move from its Sawgrass Village location to office space on State Road A1A, just south of Marsh Landing Parkway, at the entrance to Ponte Vedra Beach.
The new office is almost triple the size of the current office and is highly visible to traffic entering Ponte Vedra Beach on A1A.
“We wanted to be able to serve and grow the membership of the Chamber,” said Bushong. “It is important that it is visible and this is the perfect office to do that. It’s a quality office location.”
Bushong said plans for the new space include creating a “welcome center” atmosphere. The increased visibility to tourists and locals will allow the Chamber to become a “gateway” to Ponte Vedra, he added.
With more than enough room in the 1,400-square-foot space, Bushong said members will have the opportunity to advertise on the premises, in an effort to drive more business to the area.
“In order to help business make more money, we need to drive more business,” he said. “Being visible, we can do that. [People] won’t miss the new office!”
