Palms Presbyterian youth group members, under the direction of Associate Pastor Katie Day, spent a day organizing school supplies and food pantry items for the Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry.
After day trips and summer mission trips to Kentucky, Charlotte, N. C. and Jamaica, the Palms Youth Group will volunteer again on Aug. 13 and 14, preparing for the annual Back to School with B.E.A.M. project, which will be held this year on Saturday, Aug. 15 at Beach United Methodist Church.
